The Pigment Bone Black by Nila Colori is prepared by charring bovine bones. They are heated in almost complete absence of oxygen, so that they aren’t transformed to ashes, but to charcoal.
Use: In fine arts for the preparation of watercolors, temperae, oil colors and acrylics.
