It is constituted mainly by <strong>two related green minerals, celadonite and glauconite<\/strong>. This is an historical pigment use since antiquity times, a natural mineral dull green that allowed painters to highlight figures and drapery with bright colors.<\/p>\n<p>The <strong>Extrafine Handmade Watercolor Green Earth<\/strong> is made in Italy by Nila Colori and is prepared with this pure pigment, is very <strong>transparent,<\/strong> has low <strong>tinting strength<\/strong>, and very <strong>lightfast.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Green Earth pigment is milled with just the right amount of a mixture of<strong>\u00a0Kordofan gum arabic<\/strong> (binder) and <strong>vegetable\u00a0glycerin<\/strong>\u00a0(humectant and plasticyzer). These are the ingredients which are historically the main characters in the production of the watercolors and which give the best results regarding\u00a0<strong>ease and pleasantness of painting<\/strong>.
