This pigment basically consists of <strong>amorphous carbon, i.e. a solid which is very similar to glass<\/strong>, without crystal structure and with a small amount of unburned oils. It is characterized by a <strong>very light and soft powder, almost impalpable<\/strong>, that presents itself in very little particles under the microscope.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The <strong>Extrafine Handmade Watercolor Lamp Black<\/strong> is made in Italy by Nila Colori and is prepared with this pure pigment, is <strong>extremely lightfast<\/strong>, <strong>opaque<\/strong> and has a good <strong>tinting strength<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Lamp Black<\/strong>\u00a0pigment is milled with just the right amount of a mixture of<strong>\u00a0Kordofan gum arabic<\/strong> (binder) and <strong>vegetable\u00a0glycerin<\/strong>\u00a0(humectant and plasticyzer). These are the ingredients which are historically the main characters in the production of the watercolors and which give the best results regarding\u00a0<strong>ease and pleasantness of painting<\/strong>.
