This is an historical pigment from\u00a0<strong>contemporary age<\/strong>, produced some decades after the introduction of the analogous yellow. Its use was widespread during the XXth century and it&#8217;s still one of the<strong>\u00a0most used reds<\/strong>\u00a0in painting.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The <strong>Extrafine Handmade Watercolor Cadmium Red Light<\/strong> is made in Italy by Nila Colori and is prepared with this pure pigment, is extremely<strong>\u00a0lightfast<\/strong>, has high <strong>tinting<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>strength<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>covering<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>power<\/strong> and <strong>brightness<\/strong>. It&#8217;s one of the colors which shows a moderate\u00a0<strong>drying shift<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Cadmium Red Light<\/strong>\u00a0pigment is milled with just the right amount of a mixture of<strong>\u00a0Kordofan gum arabic<\/strong> (binder) and <strong>vegetable\u00a0glycerin<\/strong>\u00a0(humectant and plasticyzer). These are the ingredients which are historically the main characters in the production of the watercolors and which give the best results regarding\u00a0<strong>ease and pleasantness of painting<\/strong>.
