This is a plant largely widespread in Europe producing <strong>luteolin<\/strong>, a\u00a0<strong>yellow<\/strong> colored flavone. If the coloring matter of weld is fixed on a mineral base, a <strong>yellow<\/strong>\u00a0lake is obtained. Nila Colori has used the <strong>traditional process<\/strong> followed since centuries to prepare the Pigment<strong> Genuine Weld Lake<\/strong>. This pigment is very transparent.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Compatibility<\/strong>: Weld lake will decompose if it&#8217;s used together with lime (for example in fresco).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Use<\/strong>: In fine arts mostly for the preparation of\u00a0<strong>watercolors<\/strong>\u00a0and temperae.
